The Knowledge Farm Launch: March 16, 2022
Innovation Saskatchewan and Ag-West Bio have partnered to create the Knowledge Farm! The launch event brought together industry members to learn about the Knowledge Farm and provide suggestions for topics and speakers. Ag-West Bio member, Black Fox Farm and Distillery, served the audience cocktail tasters and provided an engaging presentation all about Whisky – (did you know there’s no ‘e’ in Canadian whisky?). |

Young Entrepreneurs Event 2022
‘Youth learning from youth’ was the theme of this event! The room was filled with students and young professionals in the agriculture and agri-food sectors who wanted to learn more about starting their own businesses. A panel of four young entrepreneurs working in the ag sector shared their wisdom and lessons learned. |

Women in Bio Events
Joining Women in Bio is a great way to reconnect with old friends while making new ones. These afternoon events bring together women working in science, agri-food, and agriculture to learn from each other while building community. Short presentations from women working in the industry offer attendees the opportunity to hear their stories and ask questions. These are not ‘women only’ events, but the topics do focus on challenges typically faced by women. |

Cattlemen’s Idea Summit: August 25 2021 / March 6 2022 / June 15 2022
This three-part hybrid series brought together cattle producers, industry members and researchers to discuss challenges that the Saskatchewan cattle industry is facing. Speakers from across Canada (some virtually and some in-person) spoke to the audience about herd management, animal health and fueling innovation in the industry. The series created new partnerships between businesses within Saskatchewan and even resulted in an Australian-based business partnering with local researchers to bring its product to Canada. |
